Shawn P. Padgett, LCP

Padgett is a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist, with over a decade of experience working in Community Mental Health, volunteering time to share interests with community youth and families, working to serve individuals and their families across South Central Kansas. Upon completion of his internship with the PTSD Clinic at Robert J. Dole VA Hospital, Mr. Padgett received his MS in Clinical Psychology from Emporia State University.  Shawn continued his work in community mental health as a Licensed Master Level Psychologist (LMLP).  Shawn continued further supervision toward clinical licensure (LCP), working with a diverse demographic of individuals and their families.

Shawn recognizes the intrinsic value of working with the public in a compassionate, calm, and empathetic manner. Mr. Padgett has education, training, supervision, and work experience with varied therapeutic strategies. His interests include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, anxiety spectrum disorders, anger management, stress regulation, and strategies in effective parenting. He brings not only broad mental health experience to build upon, but also a positive, compassionate attitude, and the confidence to share his experience with others.

1. Traveled out of the country in the last 14 days or have been around someone who has been out of the United Sates. China, Iran, Italy, South Korea, or anywhere else in Europe.
• Traveled to CA, NY or WA on or after March 15th, visited Eagle, Summit, Pitkin, and Gunnison counties in CO.
• Traveled on a cruise ship on or after March 15th
• Traveled internationally on or after March 15th
• You are a close contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19

2. Have had contact with anyone who has lab confirmed Noel Coroavirus within 14 days of symptoms onset.

3. Have had a fever of 100.4 F within the last 14 days.

4. If you have Cough, Shortness of Breath, Pneumonia, flu or cold Symptoms.

Call so you are not charged for a missed appointment. We can set up appointments with providers through Telemed if your insurance covers those services.
